How to Register for WAEC (2026) — WASSCE School Route and GCE Private Route Under the WAEC Convention 1952

WAEC registration runs through two distinct routes under the WAEC Convention 1952 (revised 2003) and the WAEC Act Cap W4 LFN 2004. The WASSCE school candidate registers through their WAEC-accredited secondary school for the May to June cycle; the GCE private candidate registers directly through the WAEC portal at waeconline.org.ng for one of the two annual private cycles.
